Report of the 1967–1970 Seasons in Fields I and II
 
GEZER I, II, IV and V present the results of Phase I of the Gezer project, directed in 1964 by G.E. Wright and from 1965–1971 by W.G. Dever and H.D. Lance. GEZER III inaugurates the publication of Phase II of the Gezer excavations, 1972–1974, directed by J.D. Seger. The ten year excavation project at this major tell site, settled continuously from the Chalcolithic through the Roman period, was jointly sponsored by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and the Harvard Semitic Museum
