Hasmonean and Herodian Palaces at Jericho. Final Reports of the 1973-1987 Excavations. Vol. III: The Pottery
An abundance of ceramic vessels from the days of the Second Temple was exposed in the complex of winter palaces located on both sides of Wadi Qelt. There was continuous activity at the site from the end of the second century BCE to the beginning of the second century CE, reflecting the transition from the Hellenistic to the early phases of the Roman period.
